How do you shoot incoming long crossers?

I went out this past weekend and I shot Maze Clays, at the Tom Lowe range in Atlanta. It's an awesome game. But I had trouble with breaking long incoming crossers, like the high house ones on station 5 of a Skeet field. It seemed that I was shooting behind them. Any tips?

Back from the trap 27 yard line the Skeet high house target is a medium to long shot. I suggest to you the pull away method, having the holding point above the trap house ( the center stick) turn your head to the left to pick up the bird, start mounting the gun after the bird left the house, finish the mounting ahead of the bird, accelerate the gun to get the lead, pull the trigger and follow through! Good luck!
